Elm Multi-skills

at

Belvoir High School

When we arrived at BHS we were put into groups from 1-10. The sports leaders lead the events. There were lots of events such as balancing bean bags on our heads, running over hurdles, throwing beanbags into hoops, running around cones, balancing on benches, throwing bean bags, jumping over a skipping rope and throwing balls to a partner.

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 really enjoyed their sporty day out.

Berry Covert Farm, Little Dalby.

Elm and Oaks class trip this year was a visit to Berry Covert Farm in Little Dalby. They went Minibeast hunting and made their own minibeast out of clay, in the afternoon they made a den to keep it in and tested it to see if it was waterproof.

Oak and Elm Class - Mad Hatters Tea Party

On Friday 25th May, Year 1 organised a Mad Hatters tea party for parents and children. Both classes made Queen of Hearts jam tarts. There was also other Alice in Wonderland themed foods for everyone to enjoy.
Thank you to all who came and an ever bigger thank you to the children and parents for raising over £500 in their sponsored spell!

Dinosaur Day

During the day they did lots of activities themed around dinosaurs and fossils such as fossil excavating, making hand print dinosaurs, making salt dough fossils and dinosaur themed show and tell. They had a roarsome day!
