Bottesford Girls Football Club

There are development squads for girls aged five to eight who train each week to learn the basics of the game. Both training and games take place on Sunday mornings in Bottesford, and the club are always looking for new girls of primary school age to join them.

Bottesford Football Club have Junior teams, both boys and girls aged 4 - 18 years old, Senior and Veteran level.

Mcmanus Irish Dancing School

Mcmanus Irish Dancing School currently consists of 27 girls and 3 boys from Bottesford CE Primary School. The Dance School were crowned National Champions at the National Finals in Birmingham in 2016.

Bottesford Cricket Club

Bottesford Cricket Club was founded in 1841, the club has two sides in the Gunn & Moore South Notts League. They also field several youth sides playing mostly mid week cricket for children aged from 6 years to 15 years old.

Rushcliffe Whiz Kidz

Rushcliffe Whiz Kidz are a Basketball club based at Jesse Gray School in West Bridgford Nottingham. They were founded in 1997 by Coaching Director Jimmy 'Jumpshot' Smith. Whiz Kidz are a family friendly mini-basketball club for boys and girls from ages 6 - 12 (School Year 2 - 7). Players receive instruction in fundamental skills, sportsmanship, team play.

As part of our link with the club, Coach Jimmy Smith has been coming in to our School for the past two years to provide coaching for all of our Key Stage 2 pupils. As a school we have also had the opportunity to attend many rallies and matches set up by Coach Smith, where we have competed against other schools in the area.
